Sgt Robert Alan Smith
This dedication is for my Dad, Robert Alan Smith, who served in the RAF as a Sgt in a bomber for 2 years at the end of WW2. Dad died 10 years ago and I still had his medals, badge, several photographs plus other ephemera from his career in the RAF. I managed to sell these to a collector and donated the proceeds to the RAF Benevolent Fund. When he left the RAF he studied to be an engineer and spent the rest of his working life with the Southern Electricity Board as an electrical engineer.
