I spent a lot of time with Dave(known as 'Ginge' Clark at RAF Honington), Where I was on 57 Sqdn (Victors) and he on 90Sqdn. He got the good detachments(Malta, Cyprus) and I got the hot steamy ones(Singapore). Later our families became good friends, though we now lived in different parts of the UK. While in Suffolk, we had some hair raising experiences on our motor bikes. His Matchless was no match for my Triumph on the A11, but on the twisty lanes, his lighter machine had the edge. Bon Annees!
