Violet Rose Bailey (nee Russell)
Mum served in the WAAF during World War 2 and often shared very loving memories. Mum joined up when she was 17 ½, she was posted to RAF Meltsham to train as a cook. Her last posting was RAF Defford in 1944.
We sadly lost mum on the 2nd February 2024 at the grand old age of 100. She will be sadly missed by all her Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren, who will forever hold her in their hearts.
