Loved Ones Missed

Sqn Ldr John McGrory

In loving memory of our father, John McGrory 1921-2024. John had a very long career as a pilot in the RAF, volunteering at the outbreak of world war 2. However he was not called up for service until 1942 and subsequently learnt to fly in Canada. He flew operationally with 625 squadron and after the war he transferred to transport command and later became a flying instructor, retiring from the RAF in 1976. John was much loved by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed.
