Sqn Ldr David Butler DFC 1920-2020
Sqn.Ldr. David Butler DFC came from humble beginnings to enjoy a long and successful career in the RAF. He completed two full tours during the war, over 55 missions as tail gunner on Halifax and Lancaster bombers with 12 and 171 Sqns. but never forgot the crew he lost on the one mission he missed, as we will never forget him.
