Our Dad was transferred to 32 SFTS, Moose Jaw, Canada via the troop ship Mauretania as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. He was in Canada from 1942 to 1944, helping to train aircrew for the RAF and during his time off, entertained the base and local population with his singing skills, even getting mentioned in the base magazine “The Prarie Flyer”.
