Loved Ones Missed

Dad joined the RAF in June 1943 and served as an engine flight mechanic, particularly in 90 Squadron, Bomber Command during WW2. He was later posted to Palestine and was a member of the Palestine Veteran's Association. He met and married our mum, Rhoda, whilst stationed at RAF Stradishall, Suffolk and worked for many years for the Royal Observer Corps when we were boys. He was a gentleman to everyone and a loving and dedicated husband to Rhoda and dad to us. We miss him dearly.
