Flt.Lt. Bernard Lloyd Hammond (deceased)
Following 31 years RAF service, I became a self-employed gardener, Bernard was a gardening client. We soon became friends, like many he had no one to talk to about his flying duties during WW2. He's "good morning, old boy" and "see you next week, old boy" remain in my memory to this day.
Blue Skies, Bernard, you are not forgotten.
