In memory of a wonderful dad, grandad and greatgrandad who passed away at the age of 96. He joined the RAF at 16 as an apprentice and at 18 volunteered for aircrew. He completed a full tour of 31 ops as an air gunner with 460 RAAF squadron. He met WAAF Beryl Wright and they married in 1946. He had been a member of the AGA since the 1950s and in 1980 started up a branch in his home town of Hereford. He cheated death several times in his life but sadly couldn't beat covid. We all miss him.
