Paul made up his mind at 10 years old; never to be swayed; 1) To be a chef 2) Join the RAF. He did both. First, he qualified as a chef and then he gained experience at the BBC London. Second, he joined the Royal Air Force, and had many posting and loved the life, he was born into the RAF and understood the lifestyle. His father told him when he was a toddler, 'When I am away- you are mummy's Wingman, you keep her safe, watch her back.' Paul never ever forgot; he was there for his mum the whole of his life, also everyone else who needed a hand up, or support. He was a very special man that will be so dreadfully missed, his humour being one, he was so loved by so many.
