Served in the WAAF 1942-45. Stationed at Uxbridge, Middlesex; Air Ministry, London; and Hednesford, Staffordshire. Proudly marched before the Royal Family in the May 1943 Wings for Victory parade at Windsor Castle. Beloved and admired mother and grandmother.
