Grant will be sadly missed at the 43 Squadron annual reunion dinners which he faithfully attended. We lost Grant on 29 January 2022.
His overriding passion was his 25 years in the RAF. He joined in 1964 and spent 3 years as a crew chief on 35 Squadron ( Vulcan bombers force) but most of his service was with No 43 Squadron. He was the Airframes Trade Manager.
He met his soulmate, Marina in the Corporals' Club when first at Leuchars and they married in 1971 and spent 50 happy years together.
