Joseph Prince 1923-2022
My Dad enlisted in the RAF on his 18th birthday and became a member of the ground crew as an electrician at various airfields during the war, working mainly on Lancaster Bombers and a few Spitfires too, making sure the air crews could keep flying. He rose to the heady heights of a full Corporal. On his discharge in November 1949, he was given the highest possible conduct report by his commanding officer.
