Kenneth George Price DFC & Bar
Having just written a book on my father and his life , I realize how remarkable he was in his relatively short life. He did 58 missions in Bomber Command and was shot down on 27th July 1943. He was picked up by the resistance, but was handed to the Gestapo by a Catholic priest. They beat him up , but eventually was sent to Stalag Luft 3, where he took part in the Great Escape in March 1944. He was 182 to exit the tunnel. Fortunately he didn't get out and survived the war. I am very proud of him!
