Carl Winston Cassini

Dedicated to the memory of Flying Officer Carl Cassini. 51 Squadron based at Snaith. He was the Bomb Aimer on Halifax NP934 MH-V flying on 18th December 1944 to Duisburg. His aircraft came down in a wood south of Charleroi, with the loss of the crew. They are at rest together at Leopoldsburg war cemetery.
Mum remembers Carl fondly.
